Adam and Adam chose to form Impressions Pools after 17 years of successful pool design and project management and in order to provide a higher quality pool service to compliment Impressions Landscape - Design.

Impressions Pools are a complete and vastly comprehensive pool design, pool renovation and pool building service, supplying a reliable, professional pool construction service built upon a refreshed vision for a modern day pool supply.

Our strong design background builds the necessary foundations to successfully plan, develop and execute a beautiful and truly considered swimming pool installation.

DIRECTOR

Director and overall leader of Impressions Pools. Adam Tanko is responsible for client consultations, site inspections and is the spearhead of the company. He manages the general operations of our projects. A qualified Designer, Landscaper and Pool Builder he shares his in-depth, comprehensive knowledge and pragmatic thinking to help translate and transfer beautiful swimming pools into realities. His lateral, practical thinking and general operations management is an asset and contributes to the success of each and every pool project. Adam Tanko offers friendly, honest advice to all new clients about the requirements of their pool construction project.

ADAM MCDONALD

DIRECTOR

Creative Director Adam McDonald is responsible for the creative direction of the company. Adam is a nationally recognised landscape designer and has been awarded at the highest level consistently throughout his career for his designs. Adam has become renowned for his creative and individualised landscape designs. He is focussed on optimised swimming pool designs that resolve challenging site issues and restraints and promote multi-layered settings that connect people to their spaces both technically and artistically. He has a unique sensibility for the clever harmonising of the built form. He is energetic and passionate about creative pool design.

MICHAEL MCAFEE

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Michael is chief of construction; he has become an integral part of the delivery team over several years in which he has been a part of the IL-D team. With the knowledge attained over his vast 19 years of construction experience building gardens over the UK and Australia. He thoroughly understands the core values of IL-D’s construction processes and high level of project delivery required to ensure design objectives are met. Michael is passionate about and meticulous in building beautifully designed projects to the upmost level and to the satisfaction of both IL-D’s designers and clients. Michael really enjoys building relationships with clients over the duration of projects and admits getting great feedback from the client about the work that is performed and the space that has been created brings him extreme satisfaction. Michael has a Certificate III in Structural Landscaping, Certificate IV in Building & Construction and holds a current Nominated Supervisors Certificate.

JO STARLING

ACCOUNTS MANAGER

With a professional background in marketing and a great understanding of customer relations. Jo is responsible for Impressions Pools accounts department. Jo manages our office administration and is point of call for accounts payable and receivable, she also assists with HR. Jo is the friendly happy voice that deals with the nitty gritty money stuff.
